Build a goods shed according to Swedish SJ standards
What is more obvious on a model railway with a Swedish theme than SJ's goods shed?

I´m building a wooden goods shed. The video is a detailed guide to creating a building in wood, painting, weathering and implementing it in an existing landscape.

The construction of this building is swedish state railways SJ standard, found at many stations during the 1960s, including in Tanumshede and Tullinge. I made this video in the hope of inspiring you to get started on building wooden buildings by showing how easy it actually is and what materials and techniques I use.

Engrave a medieval city wall
Rothenburg ob die Taubern in Germany is the prototype for this model wall.

In this video I build an adapted version of the famous medieval city wall in Rothenburg ob der Taubern in Germany. The stone wall has stones of random size (yellowish sandstone), wooden railing and clay tile roof.

The video describes the build and the ventilation to duplicate the original. Construction time about 40 hours.

Tiled roofs molded in wood glue
A purchased plastic plate of roof lasts a lifetime
Vollmer, Faller and other manufacturers sell plastic plates with different designs. There are both brick walls, stone walls and various types of roofing. Brick walls and stone walls have joints that go inwards and these cannot easily be cast off, but the roof coatings are symmetrical and can easily be duplicated with the help of wood glue.

How it works is shown in the video below.
